Gampo utamo kaduo tajadi pado 9 Juni pukua 03:06 UTC. Guncangan iko mamacahan segmen Sumani jo mungkin bagian barat lauik dari segmen Suliti. Kakuekannyo dipakiroan Mw 7,5, [1] atau Ms 7.4. [7]
